Poppy Blue Photography is a 2,000 square foot studio located in Park Ridge, Illinois,
a northwest suburb of Chicago. Barbara specializes in photographing dogs and their
families but offers an array of portrait photography services including newborns, children,
families, high school seniors, engagements and pets.

Barbara is known for her unique ability to understand and photograph all walks of life,
two legged and four legged, capturing images that are always full of life and
personality. She strives to customize every session so you’ll never see an identical
image anywhere.

Clients adore her laid back, easy-going nature and unending patience. She
has a natural instinct for connecting with her clients, whether it’s people or their pets,
and it’s that connection – that comfort and ease – which makes her images so expressive

Barbara is a national speaker and an instructor for “UNLEASHED | fine art pet
photography,” a series of workshops held across the country which aims at educating
other professional photographers on how to photograph animals and their families. Her
award-winning images have been featured in various publications, greeting cards and
calendars and she is always available for commercial and editorial assignments as well.
